11 Days and Counting...

In 11 days, it will be May 15th- the day I appear in the Jefferson County, Missouri court, asking to be appointed as the Guardian of my Mom.  My husband, Ed will be a co-guardian.  My precious Mom, Bonnie, has moderate stage dementia and can no longer handle her financial affairs or make other important decisions concerning her welfare.  My sisters and I made some family decisions involving the guardianship and also a decision to move my Mom from Missouri to Texas, to be near me.  These next few weeks will be spent going back and forth to Missouri, preparing my Mom to move.  Moving anywhere and anytime is huge!  We are planning to make this move, for my 86-year-old Mom, as easy and stress-free as possible.  I'll let you know how that works out for us!
